Publication model
Continuous Articles, Monthly Issues
NEJSR uses continuous article publication. An article may be published after the editorial and production process is complete rather than waiting for a fixed monthly release date.
Published articles are organized into monthly issues, with twelve issues assigned to each annual volume.
Access and licensing
Open Access
NEJSR operates as an open-access journal. Published journal content is intended to be freely available to readers without subscription access.
License detail
Authors retain copyright in articles published by NEJSR. Published articles use the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
Historical record
NEJSR Historical Archive
The NEJSR website preserves previously published journal articles from 2016 through 2018 as a historical archive. Known original publication dates and volume or issue information are retained on each article record.
The historical archive is distinct from the journal's current continuous-publication model with monthly issue organization.
