Corrections
Material errors that affect interpretation, attribution, metadata, or the reliability of part of an article may require a published correction linked to the original article.
Retractions
A retraction may be appropriate when published findings or conclusions are unreliable, publication involves serious ethical or legal concerns, or another circumstance warrants withdrawal from the reliable scholarly record.
Visibility
Corrections, expressions of concern, and retractions should remain clearly connected to the affected publication rather than silently changing the scholarly record.
